SAFETY
TAE is committed to providing a safe workplace for all our workers and we approach safety from many different levels. In fact, we operate on the belief that all incidents are preventable. Our proactive approach to creating a safe work environment has proven itself effective as exemplified by superior safety records and numerous awards including being named “Environmental Safety & Health Subcontractor of the Quarter” at the Oak Ridge DOE plants several times.

OSHA
TAE follows and updates OSHA’s safety guidelines, including specific guidelines for our industry. Before beginning work, each TAE team member is required to complete the 10-hour training course.

Annual Safety Meeting
Once a year, TAE meets to ensure our team is aware of any changes to OSHA requirements, new technology, and safety issues from current and past job sites.

Safety Committee
Made up of dedicated employees and management members, the TAE safety committee meets monthly to discuss current and past safety issues, as well as opportunities for additional safety trainings.

Education
Our team isn’t just educated in a formal classroom setting. We utilize peer-to-peer, worksite, and demonstrative training to ensure our team is prepared for every scenario possible.

Weekly Toolbox Talk
Each department is dedicated to following their assigned safety protocols. To keep safety at the forefront of our employees' minds, we host weekly toolbox safety meetings to review protocols.

Monthly Site Inspections
We pay particular attention to items that have or are likely to develop into unsafe conditions because of stress, wear, misuse, or vibration— including areas that are not regularly worked in.
